Digital Insomnia is the home of Phillip Marsland's photography — mostly built around the Suffolk coast, where the first light of the day hits Lowestoft before almost anywhere else in Britain.

From predawn beach walks waiting on a sunrise, to the industrial corners of the town, the wildlife that shares it, and the black & white studies in between — every image here was taken on location around Lowestoft and wider Suffolk.
